Enhance operations at UBC as a Senior Program Assistant for the Centre for European Studies. Directly support the CES Director by coordinating programs, managing communications, and overseeing financial activities.
This term position with the Centre for European Studies seeks an experienced Senior Program Assistant to provide essential administrative support. You'll assist with grant coordination, event planning, and developing marketing materials. This role demands solid organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively across various stakeholders engaged in the cultural and scholarly examination of Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support CES Director with program administration and scheduling
• Coordinate grant applications and monitor submission processes
• Organize meetings, events,
and communications with stakeholders
• Manage financial reconciliations and budget projections
• Develop promotional materials for CES activities
Requirements:
• High School diploma and 4 years related experience
• Knowledge of European studies preferred
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and office technology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
