Join the Mental Health Adult Inpatient Program as a Part Time Recreation Aide with the Centennial Centre for Mental Health and Brain Injury. Engage clients in a therapeutic setting and support their recovery journey.

As a valued team member, the Recreation Aide will work under the supervision of various therapists within the Laurier Adult Inpatient Program. This role involves both independent and team-oriented responsibilities, including interacting directly with clients to promote healthy living and independence. Administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies and tracking attendances, will also be part of your duties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Engage clients in therapeutic activities and programs
• Assist with client lifts, transfers, and daily living tasks




• Order supplies and maintain inventory for therapy sessions
• Track client attendances and appointments accurately
• Prepare and clean treatment areas before and after use

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 education
• Relevant education and experience combination considered
• Comfortable assisting with basic client care needs
• Familiarity with rehabilitation services is preferred
• Availability for shifting days and evenings
