Position: Administrator/ Administrative Assistant (Insurance Operations)
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 6 months with possible extension and conversion

Job Overview:
In this role as an Administrator - Insurance Operations, you will support colleagues in the Operations Planning Department by ensuring the timely and accurate production, processing, and maintenance of key operational and insurance-related documentation. You will contribute directly to the achievement of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and broader business objectives, while adhering to established policies and performance standards. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a basic understanding of insurance operations and related legislation. Candidates may be required to complete a timed and monitored assessment as part of the selection process.

Responsibilities Support colleagues in the Operations Planning Department with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks.
Ensure timely and accurate production and processing of relevant documents and information, including preparation and formatting of reports.
Contribute to the achievement of SLAs, KPIs, and overall business objectives through consistent, high-quality work.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and performance standards in daily activities.
Update and maintain reports based on predefined templates on a regular basis to ensure accurate and current data entry.
Maintain a basic understanding of core aspects of insurance operations and related legislation to support accurate processing and documentation.
Assist with general administrative duties such as data entry, document management, and internal communications as required.
Participate in required assessments or evaluations, ensuring compliance with timing and monitoring requirements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR and other departments, to support a culture of internal mobility and partnership.
Leverage available employee resource groups and internal networks to stay informed about best practices and industry trends.

Qualifications Bilingual language skills preferred; ability to work effectively in English is required.
1+ years of administrative work experience, ideally in an operations, insurance, or corporate environment.
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
Demonstrated ability to complete repetitive or similar tasks with excellent care, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and support SLA and KPI targets.




Basic understanding of insurance concepts and related legislation, or willingness to learn quickly.
Proficiency with standard office software and tools for data entry, reporting, and document preparation.
Robust communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high performance standards.
Willingness to complete a timed and monitored assessment as part of the hiring process.
