Customer requirements form the foundation of the design which guides all engineering solutions and product elements. Initial design efforts are based on Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) which provide the necessary details required by all engineering teams (Hardware (HW), Software (SW), electrical, etc.) Technically, the systems engineer is responsible for the total product development including, but not limited to, concepts, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
