What You’ll Be Doing:
You will be a welcomed member of the team, working in a fast-paced workplace where you will make a meaningful difference in residents’ lives. As a Hospitality Aide you will do meaningful work everyday ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents’. As an individual and part of a wider team,
you will be a strong contributor to the culture of the home, where the focus is always on helping residents live fully, every day.
How You’ll Succeed
Assist with the preparation of meals, and serving meals to residents
Follow residents' diets and food preferences
Take the menu orders from the residents
Set and clear tables in the dining rooms and ensure they are
Ensure you are following proper food handling techniques
Who You Are:
Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent is required.
Have a valid Safe Food Handler’s Certificate or willing to obtain
You are committed to providing compassionate support that provides seniors to live their lives to the fullest
You are detailed-oriented coupled with strong customer service skills enabling you to effectively communicate with residents and staff
You may bring experience in food service from institutional, healthcare, restaurant, or hospitality
All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Vulnerable Sector Check.
Must be available for the scheduled mandatory orientation; no exceptions.
