Contribute to municipal infrastructure as a Water and Sewer Systems Technician with the City of Saskatoon. This role centers on emergency response and maintenance tasks for water and sewer systems.

This position is under CUPE 859 and requires independent inspection and correction of municipal water and sewer issues. You'll be tasked with operating water system components, addressing customer inquiries, and diagnosing system problems. Your expertise in maintenance and repairs will help improve the city's water distribution and sanitation services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and clean sewer services to restore functionality
• Respond to water pressure and quality inquiries
• Operate valves for water service adjustments




• Troubleshoot and maintain distribution system components
• Erect barricades and manage traffic during emergencies

Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of related water and sewer experience
• Level 2 Wastewater and Water Distribution Certification
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Current protected driving abstract
