Join Aon's Proactive Security Testing team as a Lead Penetration Tester. This role involves complex web application security assessments, vulnerability research, and mentoring junior engineers while working remotely or near an office in BC or ON.

As a senior member, you will guide your team in conducting thorough security assessments using both static and agile techniques. You will have a direct impact by communicating vulnerabilities to client development teams and providing actionable recommendations for remediation. Engage in ongoing security research, contribute to technical documentation, and improve internal tooling processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct hybrid web application security assessments with code review
• Write test harnesses for security vulnerability identification




• Document technical issues and outline associated risks
• Mentor junior engineers and assist in their career development
• Engage in vulnerability research and produce technical content

Requirements:
• 4+ years of hands-on penetration testing experience
• Expertise in programming languages: Java, C#, Python, etc.
• Skilled in testing tools like Burp Suite and code review tools
• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities
• Excellent communication skills in English for presenting findings
