As an Early Childhood Education Assistant, you will play a crucial role in facilitating high-quality childcare under the supervision of Early Childhood Educators and the Childcare Manager. Your responsibilities will include supporting play-based learning, engaging in developmental observations, and assisting in maintaining safe and organized environments. The position emphasizes fostering respectful interactions and collaboration with children, families, and fellow staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive supervision to ensure children's safety
• Assist ECEs with play-based learning activities




• Model positive interactions and cooperation among children
• Maintain hygiene and safety in childcare settings
• Participate actively in team collaboration and staff meetings

Requirements:
• Valid ECEA Certificate recognized in British Columbia
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Explicit Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector)
• Experience working with children preferred
• Understanding of child development and play-based principles
