Calfrac is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice to ensure equipment readiness and reliability. This role involves daily repairs and preventive maintenance for well servicing equipment.
As part of the Maintenance Department, the Heavy Duty Mechanic Apprentice will focus on diagnosing and repairing equipment efficiently. This position is essential to our commitment to safety and exceptional customer service while working with high-tech machinery. A passion for mechanics and problem-solving is crucial in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform daily repairs on well servicing equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Diagnose equipment issues and find effective solutions
• Utilize shop and field tools and technologies efficiently
• Maintain a protected and organized work environment
Requirements:
• Working toward Journeyperson Heavy Duty or Automotive Certification
• Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract
• Certification in CVIP / DOT inspections is an asset
• Commitment to safety and efficiency
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
