This pivotal role includes operating, maintaining, and configuring Industrial Control Systems (ICS) while ensuring smooth communication with water and wastewater operations. Key responsibilities involve installing and troubleshooting equipment to improve system security and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and configure Industrial Control Systems throughout Halifax Water
• Install and troubleshoot radio communication and automated controls
• Support water and wastewater staff with ICS and SCADA




• Enhance security of industrial control systems and processes
• Work with sensors, actuators, and control panels for productive operations

Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technologist certification
• Specialized training in PLC programming and SCADA applications
• Two years of experience in instrumentation and SCADA systems
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Valid Nova Scotia Driver’s License required
