Redeemer University invites applications for various adjunct faculty positions (part time, limited-term) in Physics and Mathematics.

Redeemer University invites applications for adjunct instructors in the Physics and Mathematics programs to teach:
Physics for Life Sciences (lab), winter 2027, scheduled for Tu&Th; evenings;
Physics II (lab only), winter 2027, scheduled for Monday evenings
Candidates must be aligned with and passionate about Redeemer’s Christian mission of integrating faith in teaching. Candidates should possess a relevant Master's degree or a PhD. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record (or show potential) of excellence in undergraduate teaching.
Responsibilities All duties associated with teaching the course(s). Such duties are guided by approved course-
level learning outcomes.
Scheduled office hours/availability to meet with and respond to student inquiries.
Non-classroom time made up of preparation of lectures, student consultation, marking or
grading, including grade appeals and cases of academic dishonesty.
Institutional responsibilities in line with the contract.
Preferred Skills and Attributes Previous post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.
Education/Training/Certifications MA or PhD (preferred) in Mathematics or Physics or a related field.

Stipend per 3-credit course: $6,201 plus 4%
An introduction to physical phenomena basic to the health sciences, physical education, and biology. Included are topics which apply to the life sciences: mechanics and properties of matter, heat, wave phenomena, electricity and magnetism, modern physics, basic electronics, measurement, and data analysis. Includes a weekly lab. Materials fee applies.
PHY-122: Physics II: Waves, Heat and Time A continuation of PHY-121, this course covers selected topics in wave motion, thermodynamics, optics, and modern physics. Includes a weekly lab. Materials fee applies.
