Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Water & Wastewater Operations Supervisor (EOCP Level 3) on behalf of a leading utility services organization in Kamloops, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced operations leader with a strong background in water, wastewater, utility infrastructure, and field operations. In this role, you will oversee daily utility operations, maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and operational performance while leading a team of operators and technical staff.

Pay Rate : $88,000 - $120,000 per year

Location : Kamloops, BC | Occasional travel to operational facilities, utility sites, and infrastructure projects

Responsibilities:

Utility Operations & System Performance

Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure systems.

Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions to improve reliability, efficiency, and service delivery.

Utilize SCADA and other monitoring systems to support operational performance and system optimization.





Investigate operational issues and implement solutions to minimize service disruptions and equipment failures.

Maintenance & Asset Management

Manage preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

Coordinate maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Support asset reliability, lifecycle planning, and equipment performance initiatives.

Assist with inventory management and operational resource planning.

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operators and field personnel.

Support recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management activities.

Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Ensure employees have the training, tools, and support required to perform their work safely and effectively.

Safety, Compliance & Emergency Response

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Develop and maintain operational procedures, emergency response plans, and safe work practices.

Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits.

Participate in and oversee emergency response activities when required.

Project & Contractor Coordination

Coordinate work performed by internal teams, contractors, and service providers.

Support operational improvement projects and infrastructure upgrades.
