Kinark Child and Family Services is looking for a part-time Psychologist in Barrie, Ontario, providing essential psychological assessments and evidence-based treatments both in-person and remotely.
As a Psychologist at Kinark, you'll report to the Clinical Lead and work directly with children and youth facing complex mental health challenges. You'll be involved in psychological assessments, evidence-based treatment delivery, and clinical consultations within a multidisciplinary team. This role prioritizes professional development and aims to improve life outcomes for Ontario's youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychological assessments and analyze results
• Provide consultation on treatment planning and ethical issues
• Deliver evidence-based treatments for individuals and groups
• Train and supervise PhD psychology students during placements
• Manage psychological files and documentation responsibilities
Requirements:
• Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology required
• Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario
• Solid assessment and treatment skills in child mental health
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Commitment to inclusivity and diversity in practice
