Extendicare seeks a dedicated Part Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with provincial standards. Join a compassionate team committed to enhancing the lives of seniors.

In this role, the RPN will report directly to the Director of Care or Health and Wellness. You will collaborate with an inter-professional team, maintain accurate patient assessments, and implement care plans. Key responsibilities also include medication administration and coordinating resident education and care assignments for productive delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and document residents’ clinical care needs
• Implement and evaluate care/service plans with necessary adjustments




• Administer and document medications in compliance with regulations
• Facilitate resident care conferences and education
• Respond to medical emergencies and significant resident changes

Requirements:
• Current registration as an RPN in the province
• Experience in long-term care environments preferred
• Strong communication and care coordination skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification required
• Recent Vulnerable Position/Sector screening needed
