Contribute to patient care in the surgical environment at North Bay Regional Health Centre. As a Room Based Attendant, support safety and confidentiality while assisting in various clinical duties.

This position operates within the Ambulatory/Endoscopy Clinics, providing essential care before and after minor surgical procedures. You’ll assist patients with transfers, maintain important stock items, and ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met while working closely with healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with patient transfers using safe handling techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in the clinic
• Support healthcare professionals during surgical procedures




• Ensure patient safety and confidentiality at all times
• Communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:
• Secondary School Graduate or equivalent
• Patient Porter experience required
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
