Integrative Services Contractor Burnaby, BC $70 CAD per hour

The Allied Health (AH) Lead is a hybrid clinician–leadership role responsible for the leadership of Changepain's allied health services. The Lead is the first point of contact for allied health clinicians, resolves clinically relevant questions and situations, and drives service quality, workflow efficiency, and growth. The Lead reports directly to the Medical Director, and major changes are planned and implemented in partnership with the Operations Director.

Reporting & Scope

Reports to: Medical Director. Major service changes are planned and implemented in partnership with the Operations Director.

Provides leadership to all AH service providers: Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Acupuncture, Clinical Counselling, and Social Work, plus related services as added (e.g., Chiropractic, Naturopathy).

Key Clinical Responsibilities

Clinical practice within your clinical scope.

Act as first point of contact for allied health clinicians, resolving clinical and operational questions.

Support clinical standards across all AH disciplines, and lead service-level decisions, implementing major changes with the Operations Director.

Administrative & Operations Support

Assist the AH administrative team to optimize AH workflows — including the MAFT process and online appointment booking (TELUS CHR).





Help the Medical Director and Operations Director create, maintain, and enforce clinic policies.

Oversee AH clinicians' competency and related regulatory college requirements.

Collect feedback from AH clinicians to improve cohesion across AH administrative functions.

Gather feedback and comments from AH clinicians to inform improvements to the patient experience.

Staff Development & Recruitment

Onboard, mentor, and upskill AH clinicians; support continuing career development and build clinical capacity.

Support recruitment and scheduling for AH roles in partnership with the Medical Director and Operations Director.

Service Growth

Grow AH service utilization through internal medical referrals and targeted marketing.

Support online initiatives such as website content, online-booking improvements, and Google ratings, with the leadership team.

IT & Documentation

Partner with the IT team to improve the AI documentation tool (Heidi) and the EMR.

Compensation & Terms

Compensation for the above leadership responsibilities:

At $70/hour

20 hours upfront for an initial program development with deliverable and measurable KPIs

5 hours per week for ongoing administrative duties and it is adjustable based on the clinic needs
