This full-time position requires a Recreation Worker who works under the Operations Manager. A passion for improving social, physical, and emotional well-being is essential, with qualifications including experience with the elderly and a Recreation Facilitator certificate valued. Engage with residents to develop tailored recreation care plans and ensure an enjoyable setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual recreation assessments for residents
• Develop customized recreation care plans for each resident
• Plan and deliver group recreation programs and special events




• Communicate program goals with residents and families
• Supervise volunteers participating in recreation services

Requirements:
• One year of experience working with the elderly
• Certification in First Aid/CPR or similar an asset
• Knowledge of aging processes and group dynamics
• Strong organizational skills and creativity
• Criminal Record and Adult Abuse Registry check needed
