Ensure a clean learning setting as a Relief Custodian with South Slave Divisional Education Council in Hay River, NT. This role focuses on custodial and minor maintenance duties in the Katlodeeche First Nation community.

As a Relief Custodian, you will report directly to the Principal of the Chief Sunrise Education Centre. You will maintain a sanitary environment for students, staff, and the public, enhancing their educational experience. This position supports both the learning outcomes of students and the instructional efforts of teachers through effective custodial practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning and maintenance for healthy school environments
• Understand and safely use cleaning procedures and chemicals




• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Communicate effectively and manage time well
• Model appropriate behaviors within a multi-cultural setting

Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 and relevant experience
• WHMIS course completion is required
• Familiarity with cleaning products and procedures
• Respect for confidentiality and local culture
• Ability to speak an Aboriginal language is an asset
