Job Summary

Job Summary: To assist residentswith daily routines and activities of daily living, including recreationalsupport. The role does not include the provision of personal care to theresidents.

Qualifications:

- Grade Twelve (12) required or equivalent.
- Preference for experience or education in recreation or healthcare
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility, senior home, or grouphome will be considered an asset
- Good interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular and consistent basis.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work shift work
- Must have sound interpersaonl, problem-solving, and organizationalskills
- Compassion, integrity, maturity, respect and a positive attitude areessential attributes
- Must provide a clear Criminal Record Check and clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

Salary Range: In accordance with current collectiveagreement between Ocean View Continuing Care Centre and CUPE Local 1245.

Rotation: Weekends / Days / Evenings / Holidays; May bechanged as necessary to meet the operational requirements of the facility.
