About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its global finance function and play a pivotal role in the organization's strategic, commercial, and operational decision-making. The CFO will be responsible for driving the company's growth, both organically and through strategic M&A;, and will be a key partner to the executive leadership team.

This role demands a seasoned executive with over 15 years of financial and strategic leadership experience, particularly within the public domain and the U.S./Canadian mortgage or housing ecosystem. The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong background in capital allocation, M&A; execution, and operational scale management, with a proven track record in these areas.





Key responsibilities for the CFO include evaluating and executing strategic M&A; opportunities, driving long-term capital allocation strategies, and partnering with the CEO, COO, and CTO to translate financial insights into commercial decisions.
The role also involves maintaining strong financial controls, governance, and compliance, and leading a capable finance organization. The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in a relevant field, a CPA designation, and a background that includes significant experience in the mortgage, housing, or related real estate services ecosystem.

The CFO will be expected to have a deep understanding of mortgage economics, interest-rate cycles, and housing-market dynamics, with a focus on the U.S. market. Personal attributes should include executive presence, independent judgment, and a transparent, agile, and collaborative leadership style.
