We hire sharp, professional brand ambassadors trained to protect atmospheres, manage crowds with rapport, and resolve conflicts before they escalate.

THE ROLE

We are seeking reliable, sharp, and customer-service-driven Venue & Event Security Guards for high-profile hospitality venues, regional festivals, concerts, and major venue events across Winnipeg and Manitoba.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proactive Access Control: Conduct professional ID verification (MLCC compliant), guest screening, and venue access management.
- Customer-Centric De-escalation: Utilize Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) and verbal rapport to de-escalate situations discreetly and professionally.
- Crowd Observation: Maintain constant situational awareness to identify safety hazards, unauthorized access, or rising tension before incidents occur.
- Brand Protection: Act as an approachable,



professional representative for both PillarGuard and our client venues.
- Incident Reporting: Complete detailed, clear digital shift logs and incident reports.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR (REQUIREMENTS)

- Active Manitoba Security Guard License (Mandatory).
- Valid LCGA / Smart Choices (or willingness to obtain prior to deployment).
- Professional Presentation: Exceptional personal grooming and ability to maintain a sharp uniform appearance.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal English communication and de-escalation ability.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and capable of working evening, weekend, and late-night venue hours.
- Physical Readiness: Ability to stand, patrol, and move throughout high-volume venue environments for extended shifts.
- First Aid / CPR certification and NVCI training are considered strong assets.
