Our hiring practices reflect the diversity of our community and as an employer, we are committed to employment equity in our work environment.Job Summary:The Job Coach is responsible for assisting in the creation of opportunities between clients and employers.Role:The role of Job Coach requires competency in a wide variety of areas including engaging and guiding youth with barriers in their job search, facilitating groups, sales strategies, marketing and promotions and a general understanding of business and human resources. The Job Coach actively markets our programs, assessing the needs of job seekers and businesses, developing relationships with employers, and networking with key stakeholders.The ability to work with and have passion around helping diverse populations, such as Youth, People with Disabilities, multi-barriered, Indigenous People, Immigrants, survivors of abuse and others, is of utmost importance. Conflict resolution skills and competence in de-escalating clients in distress are significant requirements for this position.
