This schedule will start in the Fall.Wednesday - between 4:45 to 7:30 pmThursday - between 4:00 to 7:30 pmReports to: Sport Program CoordinatorKey ResponsibilitiesConduct group and private ice skating lessons for various age groups and skill levelsCreate lesson plans tailored to the needs and abilities of each studentProvide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their skating abilitiesPromote a safe and positive learning environment,



emphasizing proper techniques and safety precautionsMonitor and assess the progress of each student, adjusting instruction as necessaryDemonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with students, parents, and staffOwnership of instruction, lesson set-up, lesson plan implementation, attendance taking, and use of equipment and teaching aidsQualificationsProficient ice skating skills and a strong understanding of skating techniquesCurrent Intermediate (Standard) First Aid and CPR-C/AED certificationsA valid Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sectors Search completed within the past 2 months upon hireExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPatient, encouraging, and able to motivate students of all agesAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
