The RoleWe are currently recruiting for experienced Journeyman Pipefitters to join our team join our team join our team for an ongoing Enbridge project.The schedule is a 10 days on, 4 days off rotation (10/4), and camp accommodations are provided.Compensation/BenefitsCLAC hourly wagesPayday is every FridayCompany contributed RRSP & Pension contributionsBenefits after 300 hoursPaid training10% vacation and stat holiday pay on regular earningsOT at 1.5 after 8 hours per dayJob Duties/ResponsibilitiesRead, interpret and work from blueprints, isometric drawings and specificationsExpertly measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass valves, pipes, fittingsInstall valves, pumps, fittings, supports and control systemsTroubleshoot and repair piping systems as requiredEnsure work is completed in accordance with OCL standards, industry codes and applicable regulationsMentor and provide guidance to Apprentice PipefittersMaintain a protected, clean and organized work areaComply with all company, client and site-specific safety policies and proceduresSkills/Qualifications/EducationJourneyperson Pipefitter CertificationPrevious experience in an industrial construction environmentValid safety tickets (OSSA, CSTS-2020, WHMIS 2015, H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Protection, AWP,
Confined Space)Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work with cranes and rigging-pick out the appropriate size weight ratingsPhysically capable of performing job duties including but not limited to: bending, lifting and working in various weather conditionsEnsure a safe team environmentAdhere to all company and worksite safety and quality processes and proceduresStrong communication skillsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testMust be legally eligible to work in CanadaWho We AreOCL Group Inc., is proudly 100% Canadian owned and operated.
