The trainer will demonstrate proper technique, and safety procedures, including EV technologies - through hands-on training and classroom instruction - which are essential skills for Hyundai automotive technicians.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACTDesign and deliver technical training programs targeting Dealership Technicians and Hyundai Corporate employeesAssist in developing new courses relative to new and/or modified productsPrepare training materials and aids such as presentations, flipcharts, handouts,
practical activities and participant assessments & evaluationsOversee the Zone Training Facility and assetsOffer recommendations on recent service and repair products and special service tools/equipmentAttend Hyundai Motor Company ("HMC") hosted technical training coursesSupport development of Training resources as a Subject Matter ExpertAssess training needs and work closely with the team to schedule training to best suit dealer network requirementsMaintain course registrations by working with Zone to maximize enrollments and participationReport training participation in the Learning Management System on a daily/course basisRemain abreast of new developments, methods and techniques in Hyundai technical and training fieldsWHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE5-7 years of relevant experience in the same or similar positionsCompletion of a secondary school diploma and college, e.G., diploma /Certificate / trade license, or an equivalent combination of experience and educationPrevious experience as an automotive technical trainer would be desirableExcellent oral and written communication abilitiesHighly competent facilitation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to prepare, reproduce, and deliver training materialsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Knowledge of adult learning principlesCustomer focused and service orientedDemonstrated organizational and planning skillsProven automotive service technician skillsStrong collaboration skillsSelf-motivated and well organized - a continuous student of automotive technologiesStrong automotive technical and analytical skills - requiredSolid automotive electrical theory and diagnostics skills - requiredMay require occasional travel (up to 25%)OTHER DETAILSThis posting is for an existing vacancy.Hiring Range:
$81,900 - $105,000The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity.Starting salary is typically offered in the lower to mid portion of the range, with placement determined by the successful candidate's skills, experience, and internal equity considerations.
