- Market, demonstrate, and sell new and used agricultural equipment and large property/landscape equipment
- Promote other company goods and services and stay informed about promotions and special events
- Profile new and existing customers while ensuring satisfaction with products and services
- Monitor business trends affecting customer purchases
- Attend John Deere or in-house training seminars, product introductions, and farm or turf trade shows
- Maintain current knowledge of equipment products, features, and benefits
- Build customer relationships and provide expert guidance on farming, turf, and property needs

Requirements

- Competitive self-starter with discipline and goal orientation
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Strong organization and time management
- Familiarity with farming practices, GPS, and Precision Agriculture
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming communities
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work rotating weekends
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in agricultural sales or customer-facing roles preferred
- Familiarity with John Deere products preferred
