Jordan Engineering is looking for a dedicated Automation & Controls / System Integrator to join our growing team. Focus areas are industrial controls and automation, PLC programming, SCADA and HMI design and programming, integration, and client relationship development.Key AccountabilitiesDesigning, configuring, integrating, and implementing process control solutions using PLC, SCADA, and HMI platformsTroubleshooting, installing, commissioning, and validating automation projects across a range of industriesReading and interpreting engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagramsProactively identifying automation opportunities in workflows and system management toolsCollaborating with clients and team members to understand project goals and deliver solutions in their best interestProviding real-time project updates and clear communication throughout the project lifecycleSupporting the growth of junior team members through mentorship and knowledge sharingRequirements3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation and controlsProven experience with PLC programming, SCADA/HMI design, and control system commissioningDegree from an accredited Engineering or Bachelor of Technology programStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving across both hardware and software environmentsNatural aptitude for building long-term client relationshipsStrong verbal and written communication,



including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiencesInherent aptitude for programming, picking up new languages and platforms with easeLegally eligible to work in Canada, with a valid driver's license and reliable vehiclePreferred QualificationsRockwell, Schneider Electric, Aveva (InTouch/OMI), or IgnitionIndustrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, and OPCIndustrial control panel design, including power distribution, layout, fusing, and thermal calculationsAI tools applied to engineering workflows, including computer vision, machine learning, or AI-assisted developmentMS SQL Server development and administrationCompensation and BenefitsHealth benefits and RRSP matching, plus monthly margin sharing based on performance.
