SAP FICO R2R Test Lead

Location: Calgary, Canada | Onsite Lead end-to-end

SAP FICO Record-to-Report (R2R) testing

across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling processes. Develop and execute comprehensive

test strategies, test plans, scenarios, scripts, and execution schedules

aligned with business and SAP requirements. Lead

SIT, UAT, functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing

for SAP FICO implementations, enhancements, and system changes. Coordinate with Finance business SMEs, SAP functional teams, technical teams, integration teams, and external vendors to ensure complete R2R process validation. Validate key R2R processes including

journal entries, period/year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, allocations, and financial postings . Manage the complete

defect lifecycle , including defect logging, triage,



prioritization, root-cause analysis, retesting, regression validation, and closure. Validate integrations between

SAP FICO and other SAP/non-SAP modules , including MM, SD, HCM, Treasury, Tax, and external financial systems. Ensure test data, master data, configuration, workflows, authorizations, interfaces, and business scenarios are properly prepared and validated. Track test execution, defect trends, risks, dependencies, and testing KPIs, providing regular status reports and escalation to project leadership. Drive business sign-off and go-live readiness , ensuring critical R2R defects are resolved or formally accepted and supporting post-go-live stabilization activities Delta System & Software, Inc.
