Your future starts here.PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:Diesel Service Attendants move, fuel, clean, test and perform basic repairs on the locomotives in a fast paced, safety oriented environment in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and enjoys working outdoors.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:Fuel, sand locomotives and re-supply cab amenities, as requiredPerform inspections and basic repairs on all locomotives, fuel tanks, cab equipmentEvaluateparts for reuse or replacementService locomotive cabs which include cleaning cab walls, locomotive toilets, windows and floorsTest all cab electrical devices, set-up cab brakes as per requirements of the train operations, test all safety devices and ensure crew to crew forms are completedOther duties as required as per collective agreementPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or general equivalencyValid driver's licenseMinimum 1 year experience working around heavy equipmentAvailable to work all types of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays in all weather conditionsAbility to pass the required written examinations,
