Location: 530 West Broadway, Vancouver BC, CanadaCore hours: Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm PSTWe value collaboration, both in-person and remotely. This position is classified as Hybrid under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position is required to be onsite 3 days per week.Role SummaryThe Talent Acquisition Partner collaborates with the People and Culture (P&C) Team and Hiring Managers at the Vancouver Central Office to support company-wide recruitment efforts across the business. As part of the People & Culture Team, this role also offers general HR support as needed.The Talent Acquisition Partner also works with the Outside Sales Team, including Outside Sales Managers (OSMs) and Outside Sales Representatives (OSRs), to recruit and develop teams across North America. The Outside Sales Team is comprised of Independent Contractors in Canada and the United States. The Talent Acquisition Partner will support hiring sub-contracted Representatives within their territories to deliver exceptional customer service to Eminence Spa Partners.Reporting & Peer RelationshipsThe Talent Acquisition Partner reports to the Direct of People and Culture and collaborates closely with the (P&C) Team and local Hiring Managers at the Vancouver Central Office. This role involves working directly with the Outside Sales Teams across Canada and the US to support hiring needs and regularly liaising with Outside Sales Team Managers based in the Vancouver Central Office.ResponsibilitiesRecruitingCentral Office Recruiting:Partner with Hiring Managers to post, screen, interview and hire candidates within hiring timelinesTrain & coach Hiring Managers on Eminence recruiting best practicesPost, track, and manage job opportunities using ATS platforms and source candidates via tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed ResumeCreate position-specific interview templatesMaintain library of job descriptions for all positionsMaintain recruiting statistics and reportingConduct telephone screening for open positionsParticipate in virtual or in-person interviews with Hiring ManagersProblem-solve recruiting challenges for difficult positionsConduct criminal background or reference checks, as neededAssist with managing the monthly Indeed recruitment budgetSupport the OSRs in the recruitment of Subcontractors:Partner with the OSRs to define job needs and develop job descriptions for new Subcontractors.Develop and apply territory-specific posting tactics to attract candidates for each new roleSupport the creation of territory-specific and job-specific contractor payment structures, calculators and guidelines to provide payment structure recommendations for each new roleProvide support and guidance as necessary throughout the interview processAssist OSRs in checking referencesPartner in the creation and maintenance of Contracts including non-disclosure, confidentiality, and non-compete sections consistent with territory-specific regulations and each OSR's requirementsOnboardingPartner with the OSRs to determine role specific requirements for Orientation and Training:Coordinate onboarding and orientation activities with the Sales Onboarding Specialist to ensure that all Subcontractors have Eminence Organics brand knowledge to deliver extraordinary Customer Service to Eminence Organics Spa PartnersWork with the Outside Sales Managersand Customer Education Team to implement ongoing developmental training/testing of the SubcontractorsAdminister new hire paperwork and first-day details to new Team Members at the Vancouver Central OfficeConduct 3-month check-ins with current Team MembersConduct exit interviews with exiting Team MembersCompany-wide Human Resources SupportAs key members of the P&C Team, the Talent Acquisition Partners will perform a variety of P&C roles throughout the company including:Create and amend ContractsAssist to maintain employee recordsAssist to maintain & distribute all P&C standard materials and documents (forms, policies, Handbook, HRIS)Collaborate on process improvementsPerform other duties and special projects as assignedExperience RequiredAbility to develop and sustain cooperative,



productive working relationships to demonstrate our core values and contribute positively to the culture of the organizationProactive, highly organized and extremely detail orientedAbility to work effectively with an off-site/remote workforceExcellent verbal and written communication skills with superior grammar and composition skillsDemonstration of responsibility and ownership – ability to see things through and manage tasks and projects to completionAbility to exercise diplomacy and discretion and to handle highly confidential information appropriatelyAbility to multitask and work well in a high pressure, multiple-deadline environment, and to work well with minimal supervision and with many styles of direct leadershipAbility to use initiative and independent judgment and problem-solving skillsStrong customer service focusSkills Required5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, training, new employee orientations, onboarding and offboarding2+ years of increasing levels of broad (generalist) HR experience with demonstrated experience in all aspects of job description1-2 years leadership experience (preferred)1-2 years of experience in leading and participating in job evaluations, job description development and all aspects of performance developmentProven experience in Contract Employment standards and regulations and their application in the workplace with Contractors and SubcontractorsProven ability to investigate, interpret and apply Employment and Contract regulations to territories across the United States and CanadaAdvanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook mail, tasks, and calendar-management capabilitiesExperience with recruitment tools such as an ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, or Indeed Resume is preferredExperience in working with an Outside Sales Team an assetExperience in conducting training an asset
