By connecting Canadian farms to tables across the country and beyond, we're committed to quality, innovation, and sustainability as we shape the future of food and agriculture.Internship OverviewAs Benefits Intern, you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience in the administration of employee health, retirement, and wellness programs. Students will build practical skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to real projects that support our business, customers and communities.Day to DaySupport the administration of employee health, retirement,



and wellness programsAssist with processing benefit enrolments and maintaining accurate employee dataReconcile benefit-related payroll deductions and identify discrepanciesConduct data audits to help ensure benefit information is complete and accurateInvestigate and resolve routine benefit data and deduction discrepanciesRespond to basic employee benefit inquiries while maintaining confidentialityProvide general administrative support to the Benefits team and assist with extra benefits-related projects as assignedWhat We're Looking ForEnrolled in a degree or diploma program, such as:AgribusinessBusiness ManagementHuman Resource ManagementAccounting/ Finance ManagementAbility to exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive employee informationDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamEagerness to learn, with a proactive and independent approach to completing assigned workFull-time availability for a 4-month term, May - AugP&H does not use artificial intelligence or automated decision-making tools to screen, assess, or select applicants.
