The Chance: The Hospitality Worker reporting to the Hospitality Manager is primarily responsible for assigned cleaning duties in accordance with established work schedules, policies, and procedures.The Hospitality Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment and reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the Hospitality Manager.What Is In It For You:* Completes routine cleaning duties as assigned including, but not limited to, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting of resident suites, restrooms, showers, nursing stations, lounges, offices, and other areas as assigned.* Dusts, cleans, and polishes furniture, cabinets, lamps/light fixtures, wall vents, handrails, baseboards, blinds etc.



in resident suites, public areas and offices as assigned.* Cleans windows and spot washes walls per routine task checklist.* Removes trash from suites, public areas, offices and ensures disposal is in accordance with company protocol.* Shampoos carpeted areas as requested.* Washes resident bathmats as required.* Cleans and polishes fireplace glass.* Cleans inside and outside of washers/dryers, empties lint traps at least daily.* Uses duty checklist daily and returns to Supervisor for review.* Operates housekeeping equipment and implements as required.What You Will Need:* High school diploma is preferred.* WHIMIS training is an asset.* Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.* Previous experience in a Healthcare or Retirement setting is preferred.* Experience with industrial vacuum, scrubber, floor polisher and other related equipment is preferred.Internal Closing Date: October 6th, 2026CasualMembers of equity-seeking groups are encouraged to applyUnion membership is a condition of employment Wage Levelling Salary: $18.62 per hour
