Security staff ensure the protection of assets, personnel, and critical systems while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Position: PartTimeSecurity GuardSite: London HydroHours: Saturday & Sunday (07:30 - 15:30 hours)Pay Rate: $21.85/hourOvertime Method :Averaging agreement (AA) - 88Posting Date: September 25, 2026Internal Closing Date: October 2, 2026External Closing Date: October 31, 2026Job Duties:Conduct regular patrols of the property and designated areas by both vehicle and on foot.Monitor site access, including employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries.Perform access control and verify identification as required.Monitor CCTV and security systems for suspicious or unauthorized activity.Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies in accordance with site procedures.Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports.Enforce site policies, procedures, and security protocols.Report safety hazards, security concerns, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.Assist with emergency response procedures, including contacting emergency services when required.Provide professional customer service and maintain a visible security presence.Perform other security-related duties as assigned by site management.Prerequisites:Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health ActSuperior written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated punctuality and reliabilityAuthorized to legally work in CanadaPlease be aware:
