This position will be based out of F.P. Walshe school in Fort Macleod, AB., but may require travelling to other schools throughout the Division to provide support. The position will begin as soon as possible and will end on June 29, 2027.Under the direction of the Complexity Team Teacher, school Administration and Division Office staff, the successful candidate will provide one-on-one and small group assistance for student(s) to help meet the goals identified in the student's learning plan, as well as in-class support for students.Desired qualifications include the following:Experience working with students in one-on-one,



small group and inclusive classroom settingsDemonstrated ability to build relationships with students who require patience and flexibilityExperience and training in working with students with different diagnoses from Autism to complex behavioursExperience in working collaboratively with a Learning Support TeamExperience or training working with First Nations culturesPhysically fit and able to keep up with the demands of working with a student with complex needsEducational Assistant certification and/or Health Care Aide certification or equivalent would be an assetNVCI and/or SIVA training would be an asset.We thank all candidates for their interest; however, only those whowill be interviewed will be contacted.
