Lead the ThriveTM Adult Day Program at Abilities Centre in Whitby, ON, unlocking potential for individuals with developmental disabilities. This full time role focuses on program delivery and participant assessment.As the ThriveTM Program Lead, you will implement day-to-day operations, focusing on participant engagement and skill development. You will design stimulating activities that promote social interaction and well-being while collaborating with various teams to enhance the program's impact. Your role is crucial in mentoring and supervising both staff and volunteers.Key Responsibilities:Supervise daily operations and address participant concernsDevelop comprehensive activity programs based on needsAssess individual progress and adjust plans accordinglyManage and train volunteers and student placementsEnsure a safe and inclusive environment for allRequirements:Education in Social Services or related fieldsExperience working with diverse populationsStrong leadership and organizational skillsCurrent vulnerable sector check and First Aid certificationMonday to Friday availability from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.Drive positive change and support all participants in achieving their goals at the ThriveTM program.
