The Rehab Assistant will be responsible for assisting the provision and delivery of quality services to the program. The objective of the Rehab Assistant is to provide safe and competent care through the application of qualified knowledge, the technical aspects of professional practice and the demonstration of compassion, professionalism and respect.QUALIFICATIONSCommunity college diploma from an Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant ProgramOne year previous experience working in fast paced, acute care hospital setting preferredApplies NH values and professional practice standards to patient/client care and serviceDemonstrated commitment to patient/client centered careMust be able to bend, reach, lift and transfer patients on a frequent basis throughout the dayEvidence of effective customer service, organizational, interpersonal, communication, judgment and decision-making skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and within an inter-disciplinary teamFlexible,
