That is our Philosophy.Position Overview:As a Fashion Allocation Analyst, you are responsible for managing a set of assigned categories. Through the use of daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports, you will develop weekly allocation plans, assortment plans to build and maintain model stocks. Through partnership with management, you will ensure timely,
effective allocations that support the needs of the stores and the business.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop weekly allocation plan on assigned categories that meet the needs of the stores and maintains optimal inventory levels and assortmentsMonitor and report on department performance and category performance using key performance indicators (KPIs)Execute timely, accurate allocations that will keep stores modeled and replenished through use of reports and analysisRegularly complete store visits, with written reports, to review and collect feedback on the effectiveness of the allocations as well as identify opportunities to enhance allocationsMaintain optimal inventory levels and assortment mixMonitor stock to sales ratios and stock turnsPull performing styles for weekly reviewReport on weekly distributions, new styles, number of units distributed and receiving storesCollaborate with buying teams to identify and prioritize key itemsWork with the Visual and Marketing departments to highlight opportunities of "key" and "it" items and provide specific store allocation and model informationQualifications:Fashion Business Post-Secondary Graduate or High School Diploma With Equivalent ExperienceRetail experience an assetProficient in Microsoft ExcelRelated Work Skills:Must have a outstanding sense of numbers, inventory control and organizational skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and time managementMust work well independently and in a team-oriented environmentSelf-motivated, energetic and able to adapt quickly to changeExercise good judgmentWhat we offer:Competitive Compensation PackageHealth and Dental Benefits PlanPaid Sick DaysEmployee DiscountTuition ReimbursementOngoing Training and DevelopmentCareer Advancement OpportunitiesBeing part of an amazing, supportive and collaborative teamYM is an equal opportunity employer.
