Fuel your career with GEODIS and discover endless growth opportunities.Your role on the team:Supports staff providing customs guidance on compliance for customer filings on front lineProvides guidance to client inquiries, referring to trade services as requiredReviews internal processes, optimize where possible and implements new proceduresAssists teams in resolving Customs and carrier issuesMaintains positive customer relationships and may be main key customer contactPrepares and monitors various Customs compliance and broker management reportsTrains, coaches, and supervises team membersSupport team members in achieving their department KPI goals including timely releasesMay participate in liaising with customs colleagues on technical matters regarding border initiatives and legislationSupports any AP/AR discrepancies and addresses accounting issuesAs required and assignedSupports GEODIS' programs for Safety, Health, Environment, Quality, Ethics, Compliance, CSR and SustainabilityWhat you need:Minimum 2 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceCustoms Certified Specialist designationCustoms Trade Compliance Specialist designation preferredMust be PC literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures,
