We're seeking skilled Water Transfer Technicians to join our roster. As a Water Transfer Technician, you'll play a crucial role in distributing water from source to site, ensuring its safe and efficient delivery.Responsibilities:Equipment operations – pumps, crew truck, filtration units, equipment trailersPerform routine equipment inspections to ensure that equipment is in good working orderAbide by all standard operating procedures and rules/regulations provided by the clientResponsible to have a professional work attitude, appearance and representation of the companyPlease ensure you meet all the below criteria before applying for this position. All applicants must meet the following requirements to be eligible.Qualifications:2+ years of water transfer experienceMechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pumps and flow dynamicsAbility to work both independently and with others to support a secure work environmentAbility to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testTools & Certifications Preferred:Valid Class 5 Driver's License,
with the ability to provide a clean drivers abstract at time of hireCurrent certification in First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO (TDG & WHMIS provided)4x4 truck – 1-ton diesel preferred with Slip Tank & Transfer Pump/HoseHitch ReceiverProof of 5 million liability insuranceWorking Conditions:Home Daily (no LOA provided, you must have accommodations in Calgary, Alberta)Outdoor environment, including extreme weather conditions and exposure to high-pressure lines, noise, dust, fumes, and chemicalsPhysically demanding with heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs)Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)We thank you for your interest in Sideworx Connect and if you think you would be a good fit for our team, we look forward to hearing from you.
