Employees are required to start and end each workday from our Surrey office.This is a hands-on field position involving emergency mitigation, structural drying, demolition, documentation,



and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct site assessments and moisture inspections using moisture meters and other diagnostic toolsPerform water extraction, structural drying, mould remediation, deodorization, cleaning, and emergency mitigation servicesSet up, monitor, and remove drying equipment including dehumidifiers, air movers, and heatersMonitor and document moisture readings and drying progressPerform selective demolition of damaged drywall, flooring, cabinetry, insulation, and other building materialsDisconnect and remove fixtures and appliances as requiredIdentify and protect unaffected contents and building materials from further damageCollect site measurements, moisture maps, photographs, and project documentationObtain samples for asbestos, lead, mould, and other hazardous materials when requiredComplete required project documentation, moisture logs, daily reports, and time recordsCommunicate professionally with homeowners, tenants, project managers, trades, and other stakeholdersAssist with training and mentoring new Labourers and Flood TechniciansWork collaboratively with demolition, construction, contents, hazmat,



and project management teamsSafely operate company vehicles and maintain company tools, equipment, and materials in a clean, organized, and professional conditionFollow all company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulationsRequired QualificationsMinimum 2 years of restoration, flood mitigation, insurance restoration, demolition, or related construction experienceValid BC Class 5 or Class 7 (Novice) Driver's Licence + Acceptable driver's abstractAbility to pass a criminal record checkWillingness to work overtime, on-call rotations, and respond to after-hours emergenciesAbility to safely lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbsAbility to safely move and position industrial drying equipmentStrong customer service and communication skillsStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracyAbility to work independently and within a team environmentLegally authorized to work in CanadaAdditional Asset QualificationsIICRC Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT)AHERA certificationApplied Structural Drying (ASD)First Aid CertificationExperience with moisture mapping, psychrometry, and thermal imagingLeadership or crew lead experienceExperience working with strata, commercial, and insurance restoration projectsExperience operating and maintaining restoration equipment, including dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filtration devices, and air scrubbersExperience driving company vehicles, including cargo vans, pickup trucks, and restoration service vehiclesExperience using and maintaining company tools and equipment in a professional field environment
