In this full-time role, you will deliver essential maintenance support and ensure effective communication with residents.As a Housing Maintenance Worker, you will report directly to the Housing Manager while collaborating with tenants to manage maintenance requests and inspections. This position necessitates general maintenance skills, record-keeping, and engagement in training sessions. Your work ensures that housing conditions remain safe and sustainable for residents.Key Responsibilities:Liaise with Housing Manager and Clerk for maintenance tasksLead and facilitate housing inspections and reportsManage administrative duties, including record-keepingParticipate in ongoing training to enhance skillsProvide adaptable on-call support as neededRequirements:Competent in Microsoft Word and similar softwareStrong written and verbal communication capabilitiesExperience in building maintenance or trades is an advantageGrade 12 diploma or equivalent desiredSatisfactory criminal and vulnerable sector checksContribute your expertise to enhance living standards in Alert Bay's Indigenous community.
