The loading dock handles all incoming and outgoing shipments for all business areas and lines of business within the company. Within this workplace, the Loading Dock Master is responsible for the shipping, receipt and distribution of all goods entering the complex. This includes Canada Post mail, courier mail and packages, furniture deliveries, food deliveries, etc.RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for the receipt, shipping and distribution of all goods and services that enter the complexEnsure that the documentation, waybill, delivery slips and the goods are correct and correspond in every respectResponsible for coordinating the pickup of all materials within the complex and deliver and coordinate disposal of used pallets throughout complexAccess, enter and operate programs to record receiving information for reporting and trackingIdentify and print purchase orders for incoming purchased goods and record in SAP system.



Also involves data input to Neopost ProgrammingMonitor Mail Distribution Mailbox for pickups/deliveries, including tracking and reportingMonitor all incoming vendors and contractors accessing Canada Life via the loading dockFill out access logs and issue temporary contractor badgesWork with building security to monitor all activity including maintenance of entry pointsHandle all direct inquiries from internal clients via face to face, phone, and e-mail in a timely and professional mannerMonitor schedules of internal deliveries/pickupsProvide support to Dock Hand as neededQUALIFICATIONSShipper/ Receiver type of experienceHighschool DiplomaForklift training is an assetOrganized/Attention to DetailWorking level experience in Excel, SAP and WordAbility to deal with internal and external personnel with both written and verbal communication
