West Coast Floral is looking for a dependable and organized Lead Greenhouse Order Picker to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for leading a small team in picking plant products accurately and efficiently from our greenhouses for customer orders.The successful candidate will help coordinate daily picking priorities; ensure products are ready for the warehouse packing team on time and confirm that all selected plants meet our internal quality standards. This position is ideal for someone who communicates well, enjoys working with a small team, and can keep work moving in a busy, deadline-driven environment.ResponsibilitiesLead and work alongside a small order-picking team of approximately three to four employeesPick plants and other greenhouse products accurately and efficiently for customer ordersReview daily orders and help organize picking priorities and team assignmentsEnsure products are picked and delivered to the packing area within required timelinesCoordinate and communicate regularly with the warehouse packing team regarding order status, priorities, timing, shortages and delaysInspect products during the picking process to ensure they meet internal quality standardsIdentify and report product shortages, quality concerns, order discrepancies, or other issuesProvide clear direction and support to team members throughout the shiftMonitor picking progress and adjust priorities when order requirements or shipping schedules changeEnsure products are handled carefully to minimize damage and maintain qualityMaintain accurate product counts and order informationKeep greenhouse aisles, picking areas, carts,



and workspaces clean and organizedPromote a positive, respectful and productive team environmentFollow and help reinforce all workplace health and safety proceduresAssist with other greenhouse or warehouse duties when requiredQualificationsPrevious experience in greenhouse operations, order picking, warehousing, horticulture, or a similar environment is an assetPrevious team-lead or leadership experience is an assetStrong organizational and time-management skillsAble to lead a small team while also performing hands-on workStrong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracyAble to recognize quality issues and follow established product standardsClear and professional communication skillsDependable, punctual and able to follow through on responsibilitiesAble to work effectively in a bust workplace with changing priorities and deadlinesPositive attitude and willingness to support other team members and departmentsBasic plant knowledge is an asset but is not requiredGrowth and DevelopmentAs the company continues to grow, motivated employees may have opportunities to learn additional greenhouse and warehouse functions, receive further training and take on increased responsibilities.
