This role supports laboratory and LHSC operations bymaintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating ordering and receiving activities, and ensuring smooth distribution ofsupplies across sites. diverse workforce that prioritizes dignity and respect for allHow YOU will make a difference:Inventory ManagementMaintain and monitor appropriate inventory levels to support uninterrupted laboratory and LHSC operations.Perform routine and ad-hoc inventory counts; reconcile variances andinvestigate discrepancies.Record purchases, update inventory databases, and ensure data accuracy and traceability.Identify opportunities to reduce material costs by analyzing consumption patterns, waste, and product usage.Ordering & Procurement CoordinationPrepare and submit purchase orders; track order status and proactively resolve delays or issues.Interface with the Oracle ordering platform and collaborate with the procurement department to ensuretimely replenishment.Follow up on service concerns, supplier issues, and non-conformances; elevate incidents when necessary.Receiving & DistributionReceive incoming material orders and verify that all goods meet quality and condition requirements.Unpack, stock, and organize inventory in designated storage areas to support efficient retrieval anddistribution.Coordinate with the warehousing team to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery of supplies to LHSCs and otherinternal clients.Manage the distribution of materials to end users while tracking usage and ensuring accountability.Compliance, Safety & Operations SupportEnsure all inventory activities comply with standard operating procedures, quality regulations, and safetyrequirements.Use personal protective equipment (e.G., gloves, lab coats) in accordance with EHS procedures.Maintain a clean, safe,



and orderly work workplace in all storage and receiving areas.Safeguard the confidentiality of patient information and adhere to organizational privacy standards.What YOU bring to the role:Minimum high school diploma or equivalentMinimum one (1) year of experience in an inventory management/related field or equivalent experience,preferably in a healthcare settingScience/medical background is an assetMedical Terminology course is an assetWorking knowledge of WHMISFluency in English, both written and verbalValid driver's license and abstract and access to reliable vehicleWorking ConditionsNormal office environmentMedical laboratory environmentAble to lift a minimum of 40 lbs (pounds)Repetitive movementsBending, turning and kneeling as well as walking requiredAble to endure extended period of time in walk-in fridge and freezersPerform duties in stationary, standing and sitting positionsExposure to noise, chemicals, solvents and bio-hazardous materialsPay rate: $21.50 to $24.00 per hourThe hiring pay range has been established; however, the final pay offer will be determined by taking into consideration various factors including but not limited to, level of experience and education requirements.Dynacare has been a "Top Employer" for many years and there is a reason why.
