Under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager – Tiles and Stones Installation Systems/Floor Coverings Installation Systems, the position holder fulfills the responsibilities linked to sales and representation of his territory.Main tasks and responsibilities of the position:Is responsible of the territory growth, sales budget and business management of the designated territory consistent with corporation objectives through special presentations of current and recent products on the market ;Is responsible for representing the company with various potential customers (distributors, consulting engineers, industrials, architects, installers) ;Is responsible for product training, communications with clients regarding technical matters on products,



does complaint resolution and influences buying decisions of the customers ;Is responsible to present a written report to the management on the activities of the territory and provides market intelligence ;Does cold calls activities or market solicitation on a regular basis ;Responsible to provide company with feedback on field testing of new or prototype formulas ;Participates in the development of new products with the Product ManagersDoes any other related tasks.Education: College Degree (CD). University degree, an assetYears of experience: 5 years’ experience in sales, customer service in a similar industry and/or environment.Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.Professional knowledge of tiles, stones and floor coverings installation systems.Languages Spoken and Written: EnglishCommunication and negotiating skillsAutonomy, courtesy and discernmentCan work under pressure, adaptation capacity and perseveranceOffice automation software: MS OfficeKnowledge of MAPEI products and industry standardsMathematical aptitudes and safety practicesLeadership, innovative capacity, team spirit, business knowledge, sense of customer service and proactivity
