Applicantsare required to have a demonstrated knowledge,understanding and commitment to this care philosophy.Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Patient Flow and workingclosely with the Director of Patient Flow andPartnerships, under the department of Utilization Management, theincumbent is responsible for operating andmaintaining a functional and efficient office. He/she isresponsible for providing secretarial services that include datacollection,entry/analysis, preparing statistical summaries andsubmitting data to internal/external sources, OntarioHealth and MOH. Also responsible for arranging and attendingmeetings, taking minutes, submitting payroll, staffscheduling for 4 departments managed through department of PatientFlow, management and notification of bedoffers, monitoring and maintaining of proper ALC coding andtracking of ALC patient movement and related data.Employment Requirments:Post Secondary Secretarial Diploma2‐3 years experience, preferably in acute care settingProficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point, GroupWise, Meditech(ADM), and keyboarding speedWorking knowledge related to medical terminologyMust have excellent organizational, verbal and writtencommunication skillsHigh level of interpersonal skill required,



with ability to manage conflict and elevate ISSUeS as requiredMust be a flexible person who can demonstrate initiative, workin a fast pace environmentAbility to work independently and as collaborative team memberMust collaborate effectively as a team memberSalary Range: $30.656 to 31.332The Health Sciences Centre strives to ensure the safety andsecurity of the patients, visitors, employees and assetsfinancial and otherwise.
