This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is extremely organized, detail-oriented, and highly cognizant of the importance of maintaining confidentiality.The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support forthe General Manager and Group Rental Manager (file, mail distribution, data entry, copy tasks and basic business correspondence).This is a full time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.Location: 13160 88 AVE SURREY, BC V3W 3K3ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:Arrange travel including flights, hotels, reservations,
and other necessary items for department membersCreate and distribute reporting and matrices to our rental operationsUtilize customer feedback reporting to distributed to group leadershipCollaborate with branch personnel on replacement reporting to maximize marketplace effortsMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctualityCarry out additional administrative duties such as answering and directing phone calls, copying, and receiving, sorting, and distributing mailOversee inventory, ordering, and stocking of office products, ensuring supply facilities are organized efficientlyResponsible for occasional local travel, including but not limited to, picking up supplies, coordinating meal deliveries, and attending off-site meetings as requiredQualificationsQualifications:Must be at least 18 years oldMust have Advanced Level of Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint andOutlookMust have 1 year of administrative experienceMust have 1 year of customer service experienceMust be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record (DWI/DUI)in past 5 yearsMust have a valid BC class 5 driver's license with no more than two chargeable moving violations or accidents within the last three years.Qualified Candidates must also possess the following knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Strong organizational and time management skillsEffective verbal and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent written communication skillsStrong negotiation skillsDependable and self-motivatedAbility to prioritize, follow-up, multi-task and meet assigned deadlinesComfortable working independently and in a team workplace
