We are a lifeline to the community when time and clinical expertise can make all the difference.We are currently looking for a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant at our Calgary base in the Corporate Services department.While you may not be flying the helicopter or providing patient care, as a member of STARS' Corporate Services team, you will play an significant role in STARS' life‐saving mission. Be part of our team.Key Responsibilities:Reception & Customer ServiceServe as brand ambassador as the first point of contact for visitors, contractors, guests, and stakeholders, both in person and on the phoneManage incoming and outgoing mail and courier shipmentsAdministrative SupportProvide administrative support to the Provincial Director and general support to the base as neededCoordinate and support base events such as recognition events and meetings, including making catering arrangementsCode and process invoices,
and reconcile corporate credit card statementsFacilities & Base OperationsAct as the main contact to coordinate contractors and vendors to keep the base safe and well maintainedManage supplies, equipment, fleet vehicles, service contracts, and ensure appropriate preventative maintenance is scheduledQualifications & Requirements:High school diploma and 2+ years of experience in office administration and/or receptionExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, courteous, and customer-focused approachComfortable with technology, including strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams)Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize competing demands, work independently, take initiative, and contribute effectively as part of a teamWhat we offer:At STARS, every day we come to work with a purpose, to save lives.
