Type One Energy seeks a skilled CAD Designer to support fusion energy development in Knoxville, TN, Woburn, MA, or Madison, WI. Your expertise will drive the creation of cutting-edge CAD models.

In this permanent, full time position, you will report to the CAD Design Manager. Your role is crucial in translating mechanical designs into functional 3D configurations while developing interfaces for stellarator systems. You will also generate technical drawings to guide fabrication processes and collaborate with engineers and scientists to resolve design issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed 3D CAD models for fusion devices
• Develop interfaces and resolve conflicts among systems
• Prepare technical drawings with fabrication specifications
• Collaborate to ensure model accuracy and functionality
• Support the fabrication of fusion components

Requirements:
• Associate's or BS degree in Engineering
• At least 5 years of design experience
• Proficiency in Siemens NX or similar CAD tools
• Knowledge of GD&T; principles
• Strong communication for effective team collaboration
