You will report to the Director of Logistics, handling, transporting, and storing lumber and beams. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and quality, ensuring all materials are processed in compliance with company standards. Contributing to a clean and organized workspace is essential for operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and verify customer orders for accuracy
• Wrap weather-sensitive products for safe shipment
• Maintain a clean work area using a “clean as you go” method
• Operate forklifts and conduct daily inspections
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
Requirements:
• Forklift certification required
• EWP experience is advantageous
• First aid level 2 certification is an asset
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
• Must wear safety boots and appropriate gear
